Donation for completed customer surveys

Dear customers,

Thank you very much for your participation in our customer survey. Your support is essential to us to improve our products and services!

We received approximately 150 completed survey forms, have rounded up the sum a bit, and decided on a donation amount of 200 €. Most respondents left the choice of aid organisation to us. The second largest group of respondents wanted us to donate the money to children in need.

Therefore, we transferred 200 € to the Save the Children charity organisation.

We wish you a peaceful Christmas and a good start into the New Year 2024!

Important information about deliveries between years

Dear customers,

For many of you, the Christmas season has already begun – probably the busiest time of the year for all of us. Especially at this time, we mobilise all our strength to ensure that your orders reach you in time and that you and your team can also enjoy the time between the years in a relaxed manner.

In order to align operational procedures with the needs of our customers, we have set a final order acceptance date:

Order stop: 12/11/2023

Delivery stop: 12/13/2023

There will be no shipping between December 14th, 2023, and January 2nd, 2024, inclusive.

In this way, we meet the needs of many companies that are on their well-deserved company holidays between Christmas and New Year.

Avoiding unsuccessful delivery attempts helps to further minimise CO2 emissions and thus makes an important contribution to sustainability.

This anniversary is a special highlight for us, now looking back on 30 years of a very successful company history in which we have been able to implement our vision of an ecologically sustainable, but still economical resists production step by step. To the event, we could also welcome the prime minister of Brandenburg, Dietmar Woidke, who had presented the Order of Merit of Brandenburg in January 2022 to us. We are particularly proud of this award because we feel strongly obligated to our region in every respect. Further high-ranking guests were Brandenburg’s Minister of Environment Anita Tack (ret.), deputy District Administrator of MOL Friedemann Hanke, IHK general manager Gundolf Schülke, and the Mayor of Strausberg Elke Stadeler.

Allresist supports Ukraine

We, the Allresist team, strongly condemn Putin’s brutal war of aggression. He brings untold suffering to the people of Ukraine. Unfortunately, the global political situation and the nuclear weapons in Putin’s hands make military support for Ukraine impossible.

However, we support the sanctions and the increasing isolation of Russia. Right from the start of the war, we stopped deliveries of our products to Russia. We personally feel sorry for our partners in Russia, but every signal, no matter how small, is important in order to bring this madness to a halfway good end.

In order to give the brave Ukrainians concrete help, Allresist contributed € 1,000 to the “Deutschland Hilft (Germany Helps)” fundraising campaign. In addition, Allresist employees donate urgently needed items such as thermos flasks, bathroom and hygiene items and winter clothing. The packages (see photo) are sent directly to a Polish collection point at the Ukrainian border. In addition, Allresist donates 450 l of disinfectant and several packages of disposable gloves worth €1,900.

We admire the heroic courage of the Ukrainians, show our solidarity with them and continue to follow the events in Ukraine with great sympathy. At the same time, we call on all people and companies to do something for the Ukrainians as well.

Order of Merit of the State of Brandenburg for Brigitte and Matthias Schirmer

On January 28, 2022, Brigitte and Matthias Schirmer were awarded the Order of Merit of the State of Brandenburg by Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke. This extraordinarily high award for special achievement recognizes their work and in particular their commitment to sustainability. From the very beginning, it was of particular importance for the Schirmer couple to implement not only economic success, but with equal importance social and ecological aspects in their newly founded company Allresist.

Allresist‘s scientific innovations led to globally recognized products (CSAR 62, Electra 92) which were honoured with the Brandenburg Technology Prize. Numerous trade fairs and congresses in Germany and abroad successfully present their know-how “Made in Brandenburg” worldwide. A broad range of prizes and honours recognized the lived company philosophy, among which the 2012 Ludwig Erhard Prize, a Germany-wide competition, deserves special mention.

Allresist is involved in numerous projects to support society. Already at the beginning of the corona pandemic, the production of disinfectants was basically built from scratch and products were sold to clinics and social institutions at cost price. For many years now, social and humanitarian projects are generously supported with donations.

This social engagement was also emphasized by Prime Minister Woidke in his laudatory speech at the award ceremony. The pictures show the moment of the award ceremony. Allresist is clearly looking ahead – daughter Ulrike Schirmer will continue to run the company as managing director from 2024 onwards. And granddaughter Nora (also visible in the picture) may be the next generation to lead this successful and socially committed company on the way into the future.

The novel corona virus (COVID-19) is spreading rapidly across national borders. So far, the operational processes of Allresist GmbH have hardly been affected. We strive to meet our customers’ requirements as best we can in this tense situation and to minimize the impact on our operational processes as much as possible. The focus is on protecting our colleagues and our customers. Our employees are regularly informed about the situation and applicable requirements that All-resist has set up to protect the health and safety of all those involved:

  • Allresist employees are sensitized to the adherence to basic and effective preventive hygiene measures (regular hand washing with soap and disinfectants, no shaking hands, keeping a distance, coughing in the crook of the arm, etc.) and are encouraged to deal with flu-like symptoms – after prior telephone Consultation – contact a doctor and inform the management.
  • Allresist GmbH has defined processes that create immediate structures in the event of any impairment of business operations in order to minimize the effects.
  • Business trips by employees will be suspended or postponed until at least April 17, 2020.
  • Currently (March 16, 2020 – 2:00 p.m.) there are no reports of COVID-19 infections at Allresist GmbH.

Allresist presents Medusa 82 at the MNE 2019 in Rhodes

Just as in the previous years, Allresist was represented at the MNE congress with a prestigious booth. This year’s MNE was guided by the motto “Going Nano in Homer’s Land” – an excellent connecting point for our presentation since our new e-beam resist is named Medusa 82. Whenever Medusa, a figure from Greek mythology, looked at a human being, he turned into stone. Quite similarly, Medusa resist layers turn into stone (SiO2) upon irradiation.

Allresist’s managing director Matthias Schirmer illustrated in his presentation the advantages of Medusa resists in comparison to the only competitor product HSQ. Our resist is characterised by long durability without any loss of quality and a wide process window. Using grayscale lithography, Medusa 82 can considerably simplify the production of diffractive optical elements (DOEs). In addition, the resist is suitable for EUV lithography. We are happy to put together all results and information for you on request.

Our results with respect to Medusa were received with great interest, but also other resist developments like CSAR 62, Electra 92 and Phoenix 81 were interesting for many users. Most of the congress participants had already worked with at least one of our resists before and shared their findings with us. The MNE 2019 was thus a great success for us.

We invite all our customers and business partners to the MNE in Leuven, Belgium, from September 14 to 18, 2020, which will be hosted by the well-known IMEC company.

Extension of the production facilities

On April 29, 2019, Allresist put the new production wing into operation in which from now on 1,000 l resist batch productions and large-scale syntheses will take place with state-of-the-art technology and taking into account all safety considerations.

First synthesis in the reactor of the new production facility

Meanwhile also the atrium for break time activities is completed and enjoys great popularity among our employees. A 300 m² green roof was planted next to the photovoltaic system which now provides a habitat for birds and insects, filters air pollutants, and saves energy through an improved thermal insulation in the building. In addition, the green roof increases the efficiency of the adjacent photovoltaic system and helps to save around 21 tonnes of climate-damaging CO2 emission every year. Allresist uses a major part of the clean electricity for the increasing production which has doubled since 2013.
